Sufi Dance

“Like the ground turns green in spring wind like bird song that starts inside the egg like the universe that comes to existence, the lover wakes and whirls.” (Rumi)

Sama which means listen is a dance that allows the dancer to become a focus in the inner spiritual world by themselves. Sama dance is a ritual that some people choose to do to join the universe. The dancer turns as the earth rotates around the sun. the powerful rhythm reminds us of heartbeat and leads us to Sama’s mysterious poisoning.

During Sama we leave a side all worldly thoughts, problems, and other stresses disappear.

Persian dance

Persian dance takes inspiration from other forms of Persian art, including miniature paintings, sculpting, music, poetry, and architecture, as well as folk dances.

Persian dance focuses on movements that incorporate the whole body and create a flow with movable spine, elegant and beautiful arms and hands gestures, as well as an earthy footwork.
